How (one way) a video call consultation works.

Let’s say you are referred to me as a lawyer in an area you need help with and you would like an appointment for a consultation on your legal matter. Here is how it can work.

1. You call me and we just talk on the phone and both determine to form an attorney-client relationship and agree upon fees and when you sign and return my fee agreement we proceed through telephone calls and email, or

2. You contact me and want to meet face to face in a video call appointment. We agree upon a time for the video call appointment that is good for both of our calendars and I send a video call appointment email to your inbox though my service “Ring Central”.

3. The lawyer appointment will most likely connect to your calendar if you allow it to for the date scheduled. Also, the email you receive and the calendar link will explain in detail how to join our secure meeting at the scheduled time. You will not need to buy anything to attend the schedule Ring Central meeting.

4. We then have our lawyer-client video call meeting and determine the next steps in your case and how we are going to exchange documents moving forward. After our face to face meeting you may decide you would like to interview other attorneys before moving forward.
